Economists at the Commonwealth Bank say the downturn will continue into 2027
A new report by Cotality shows the downturn has spread to 93% of suburbs in all of Australia’s capital cities
Labor’s victim-blaming Pauline Hanson
Attorney-General Michelle Rowland has accused Pauline Hanson of inciting political violence against herself, despite Albanese calling her “dangerous.”
Our take: Labor is clearly rattled by the Secret Harbour by-election, which they lost in a massive swing. Faced with collapsing popularity, Albanese is sending Labor into attack mode.
Chris Bowen’s $150 million failure
Energy Minister Chris Bowen, who is also the President of Negotiations for the COP climate summit, has spent $150 million of taxpayer money on pre-COP events for world leaders.
Despite this, only five world leaders have confirmed their attendance.
The opposition has called this an embarrassment.
Barnaby Joyce says we have an “obligation” to help Nepal
Australia has so far committed a total of $8 million in foreign aid to Nepal after the flood disaster.
In response, Barnaby Joyce says “we do have an obligation to try and help the Nepalese, they’re great people.”
