In response, Labor did the usual name-calling, accusing the opposition for “going half-cocked” for asking basic questions to the government.

Among the highest inflation in the developed world is also collapsing our living standards, as inflation bites into wages.
High inflation has led to a decline in real wages and not growth, as the Treasurer and Labor keep spinning.
RBA warns more interest hikes needed
Despite the Treasurer claiming there is “good progress” on recent inflation data, the RBA has warned a greater economic downturn is needed with higher interest rates and higher unemployment to quell inflation.
Basic economics dictates the RBA must go harder because of Labor’s inflationary government spending.
